This is important than ass and tits bro. This is different. Schumer has to start over because the Durbin and Graham proposal is dead. If you want to break through the stalemate, you start over.

Myspace, lol this never ending negotiations...... they only agree to agree but then, it goes nowhere.

Cornyn is a fraud. He wants billions, but he is asking that they not be 'appropriated' and simpky ge used as a loan to DHS to use as it pleases.

That will be used for deportation and private prisons. On top, it opens the door to mismanagement, abuse, and fraud.

I truly hope the GOP and the WH come to their senses and realize that asking so many concessions in exchange for just legalizing DACAers is not gonna work. Democrats will not agree to overhaul the entire immigration system just for us. It has to be addressed by pieces, maybe the wall and border security while putting us on a 10 year path to citizenship would sound more fair. I don't know why is it so hard to agree on that, if they really wanted to help us, they would have done it by now. Something tells me they want to keep using us for political purposes.

Don't think that's true. Probably want to appropriate it all up front for specific uses and then use it as they go versus getting appropriations every year for the same thing which may stop if Dems get control.

He make a good point. I think that's the best best trade off, win-win on both sides.

I will say this in the nicest way possible: if any of you want anything done, there will unfortunately need to be major concessions. Democrats nor Dreamers aren't really in a SUPER position of power to be implementing imaginary barriers or limitations on what is acceptable and what isn't.

Instead of feeling hopeless and depressed on this forum, pick up your phone and call or go on twitter and tweet these leaders and pressure for a fair compromise that won't endanger others so much.

Now, if concessions are not your thing, I respect that too. If we get nothing, then we get nothing and we move on and make other plans.

But, these are the two options you are looking at. When Feb. 8th comes around, my two cents many if not all of you will feel the desperate need to get anything passed, so we can finally escape this shit hole and live in peace.

Think about it. Feeling hopeless on here won't do any of us any good. Discuss ideas and from there call or tweet. Pressure but don't waste time in making analytical predictions of doom. PRESSURE from now until the 8th. If nothing happens then, then we start making plans: you either wait it out or start looking at other countries. PLEASE PRESSURE.
