The federal government runs out of money on Sept. 28, and Trump has made no secret of his demand for border wall funding in any spending legislation he signs.

In fact, during a meeting with appropriators last week, Trump pressed Republicans to give him $5 billion as a down payment on his wall — well over the $1.6 billion senators had proposed and the $2.2 billion the House had planned.

But GOP leaders know that Senate Democrats will reject the request without relief for Dreamers, and Republicans can’t pass a single appropriations bill in the Senate without them."

Schumer and Pelosi already caved in once, they will cave in again

If they give Trump $5 billion without relief for Dreamers, it should be a very clear message to every DACAer that relief will not come in the near or far future.

We have to fight for our future. We are not asking for handouts, only opportunity. Start pressuring again. It will come down to a deal in the Senate appropriations again; the House Republicans are cons.

This will only happen if the blue wave materializes. Forecasts of a blue wave may have been too premature. Remember that crooked, bloodthirsty clinton, arkancide champion was gonna win the presidency.
