If trump ends DACA, do Democrats have any leverage in terms of shutdown or no?

Dems in Senate already did a shutdown because of DACA and republicans roasted them for shutting down the government for "illegals". I don't think they'll do it again.

It might be different if this is post election. Which dems will probably loose at this point.

Perhaps if they win the presidency next November. If they keep the house and presidency they have more leverage to get a bill passed.

I know it's still early, but sadly, I am not seeing how the dems are bringing a winning game plan to this election. Candidates are weak as fuck in this upside-down political environment.

Unpopular opinion:
They really needed to come up with a white, middle-left leaning man that everyone can rally behind. This election should be all about electability via winning swing voters and states and getting the orange primate out of office. No in-fighting. It should not be about pie in the sky dreams like solving the universal healthcare issues and paying everyone's student loans, which some of the Democratic candidates keep pushing. That's not going to win over independent voters.

Bloomberg stands a chance vs Trump in my opinion. Last thing I heard he's devoted 100 million of his own money in campaign advertising. Plus, he's a capitalists Rebublicans can get onboard with. It's just a matter of winning the democratic nomination.

Forget it if Warren or Bernie win the nomination. I can't stand Warren.
