I noticed my receipt notice 797 has a spelling mistake, my last is incorrect. I don’t know whether it’s my fault or uscis. So my last name is Hernandez but the receipt say “hemandez” should I worry or could uscis fix it.

Adrian,
If it was your mistake, then you will have to apply for a replacement card and pay again the filing fee. If it was USCIS error, then they will fix it without you having to pay. Read page 21 (top section) of the I-765 instructions to learn what to do. If your application was hand written, then it’s possible you put the r and n so close to each other that resembled an “m”. If your application was typed out on a computer then it should be an easy determination. Either way, contact USCIS as soon as possible and try to resolve this issue. If you can not resolve this issue quickly and USCIS evades responsibility or does not care to entertain your case, I would just bite the bullet and submit for a replacement and pay again. A few years ago, USPS delivered my card to the wrong address (never found out where), USCIS had told
Me if I could get a letter from USPS in which they accepted responsibility then they would replace my card at no cost. However every time I called, they gave me the run around and time was running out. I decided to just pay for a replacement and my card got here right before it expired. Good luck and I am sorry!
