White House's latest regulatory agenda is out. DACA regulation and updated public charge rule both expected out in August (though those dates aren't set in stone)

they know DACA is about to be killed one way or the other, they are about to split deferred action from the EAD on August for the upcoming ruling. extremely dangerous since we can become illegal again but with EAD. ICE can start coming after us. keep in mind Biden is deporting a ton of people right now.

good job Biden supporters! good fkin job!!

Stop fear mongonering. That’s not what’s going on. The new regulation is posted here: https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/...898.pdf#page=1

The challenge to DACA by the 9 states is that it violates the APA. The new regulation follows the APA which makes their case moot. The document describes the current legal challenge to DACA on page 16.

So, yes the courts may terminate the original DACA memorandum because of a procedural mistep but DACA will continue under the new regulation.

The ruling and the timing of the finalization of the regulation will probably be coordinated. Even if they’re not and the ruling cones before the regulation, there’s no way in Biden’s administration that ICE will come after DACA recipients.

TLDR: DACA forever

APA notice and comment is what tangled expanded Daca in court years ago.

Seven million undocumented frontline workers and this is the only move on immigration? This is not saving the economy or inflation, or healthcare shortages. Expand it.
