I will be piss if nothing happens this year, the NCLR and all others groups need to stop focusing on CIR and focus on smaller bills with greater chances of passing.

We,as an organization, need to contact these fews groups because in the end, they are going to ruin our chances for anything to pass soon.

We need to come with a plan now!!!!!
Any Ideas?????????????

We need to call Senator Durbin if we don't make any actions now then, they won't even have the chance to debate Dream.

I totally agree we need a new course of action as a organization to get it thing done right from the start, I think the best thing to do right now is to contact key supporters in the House and Senate and tell them to introduce DREAM as a stand alone bill and not with any CIR bill.

Don't forget that getting the bill introduced is the easy part, getting it passed is another issue. Focus on getting those on the fence to co-sponsor DREAM.

Starting Monday start calling your reps office, ask to speak with the scheduler and then set up an appointment with the immigration aid and/or rep/senator. Get them to say they'll co-sponsor any version of DREAM that comes up and by doing so you'll do a lot more good than asking them to introduce DREAM.

Senator Durbin cares about this issue and I think we can all leave the introducing of DREAM in his hands.

Yes! That's exactly what an aid told us is the most important thing we can do. So, get to the phones and call your reps!

Could something be physically mailed off to Univision? maybe or to Dispierta America or even the (Christina show that airs on Mondays)( All shows that air on this channel and mostly viewed by hispanics)or contact them and see if maybe a spokesperson goes personally get some time on the air??? The Tyra Banks show..I know shes not hispanic, but you never know she might want to support it. IF this can catch the attention of people in the White House or in the more liberal shows also our local television shows by some kind of shot the word can spread through there. The Nancy Show..shes pretty open minded. Mailing off some kind of letter or better yet having phone contact for support, describing the meaning to many latinos regarding DREAM, and the benefits if it passes to some of these places is just a suggestion. If Dream is going to have any chance of passing this must be executed in a more rapid and open manner. Like almost spamming but in real life??? sorry if this sounds off but it's what popped in my head and sounded about right to type.

Dream has been introduced as a stand alone bill since 2001, so i don't know what you are talking about. Just because they introduce CIR with a dream component doesn't mean dream act can be introduced as a separate bill.

I have been suggesting the same thing but I say we need to somehow get in contact with Oprah. I thought the documentary "papers" could be a mean to catch Oprah attention.

YES!! someone needs to be the head anchor here and get a hold of someone because if Obama stands up @ the podium and roars about "DREAM" and Durbin is in the inside talking his heart out regarding the same issue then we as "ONE DREAM" need to roar right after them and that way catch attention and make this a phenomenal of some degree. And the reason I had said Univision as well is because almost every or all shows that air on there is lead by an immigrant at some point and therefore would understand Dreamers and why it would be very important to fire this up and be put on the spotlight...This is the chance and we need to take it buy storm. GO DREAMERS GO!
