I'm an incoming senior in South Florida, and willing to fight regardless my legal status. I want to contribute the Dream Act effort in the local area.
They've recently accepted one of my articles regarding the DREAM act in a local newspaper (Ciudad Doral, July edition) which I hope will stir some response from readers. If you do live in the area, please make sure to check it out, and answer back to the press, the more responses, the more press, the greater force.
When this article was published in my high school newspaper most readers were unaware of the DREAM act. I'm sure that we can gather large groups of support in the student ground, the key is to inform and then put priorities straight to take action.
I have been searching for a journalism internship, any volunteering, or project
I can work on this summer that involves fighting for the DREAM act will be appretiated.
