DREAM Act Amnesty Back on (and Off) Table

Now that the Senate has completed action on the CJS spending bill, senators have taken up the labor, health and human services spending bill (H.R. 3043). Previously, Capitol Hill sources told NumbersUSA that open borders senators might offer the DREAM Act amnesty as an amendment to that bill, but sources now indicate that the probability of this ill-conceived scheme being proposed again at this time is waning. It is believed that majority leadership is now pushing for a vote on the DREAM Act as a free-standing measure. In either case, NumbersUSA members are encouraged to contact their senators to stave off any action on the DREAM Act.
That is good news, i like it better to be debated as a stand alone bill then attached to anything.. Less chance of a veto also if it passes

Hmm, im scared of the amount of ammendments that would be added on to make the dream act sooo narrow that a lot of people who will qualify now cant qualify then.

to tell you guys the truth i think this entire thing was a ploy to get them losers to start calling against the DREAM Act. I don't think the DREAM Act was ever really going to get attached to that HHS appr bill.
