I am all for asylum of people in need. However, these people seem to have turned down Mexico's offer for asylum, and to me that is bullshit. I am all for letting people in who really need it, those facing danger back home. This economic migration is bs. Also, they do not have more right than we do. They come in large numbers, make a mess of Mexican towns already at the brink of chaos, demand help from the Mexican gov. Yet turn down any asylum offers. |

My parents had no need to come here. They came here under the illusion that the U S was an easy way to make money.
They regret leaving good jobs and essentially making their own lives miserable.
It turned out fine because my brothers and I got an education but my parents lost everything in the process.
They live as slaves of a country that does not want them.
