Thanks for passing this along. I'm in a similar situation - over 50 days and still no notice. Also, my application is no different from my two previous ones. I believe ryker also submitted an inquiry regarding biometrics (and was approved in a little less than a month after a walk-in).

Then about 30 mins ago I got an email from the attorney! Here's her response:It is very concerning and disturbing to hear about this.  If you want, NILC can flag your case for USCIS headquarters in D.C and they may contact you directly.  If you want us to do so, please send me the following information:
-          Your A#/USCIS # and what service center your case is in
-          Date of your biometrics appointment
-          Description of the type of job that you had and how long you were working there
-          Brief description of any other hardship you are facing by having your EAD expire
Please also send me the best number and email to reach you.

I replied right away. Maybe this is an option for those of us that have expired permits? I'll keep you all posted.

My Lawyer sent out my renewal application May 24th 2016, it was received June 6th 2016.
I have been waiting for my Biometrics appointment since then (two months already).
Is there anything I can do? Anything to find out what's going on?
My lawyer told me that it's too early to submit an inquiry.
I'm not sure what do to. In the past (this is my 3rd renewal) the process was smooth.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
