Still nothing for me. I contacted my congressman last week and today I got this email response:

"Thank you for contacting my office regarding the issue you have with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS).

As your Representative, I take very seriously the responsibility I have to ensure you receive a thorough and effective response from the Federal government.

Attached, please find a Privacy Authorization Form. Once this form is completed and returned to my office, a caseworker from my staff will initiate an inquiry with the Congressional Liaison with USCIS on your behalf. It is my hope that we can assist you in resolving this important matter. "


I didn't know whether or not I should go ahead and do this since a lot of you have been getting approved the last couple of days but I feel the need to do everything in my power to find out what the hell is going on. Faxing in the authorization form tomorrow. I'll keep you all updated.

You should definitely do it. Try every path you can think of to get things moving. The worst thing that can happen is for USCIS is to say they can't do anything.

I was approved on 8/3/16 and actually on 8/5/16 Nebraska Service Center finally responded back to my email when I inquired about my cases.
In the email they said my case my approved on 8/3/16 and my EAD card was sent to production. I should receive my EAD within 7-10 days.



You should receive your new EAD card, at the latest, by Monday 8/15/16 (I'm excluding Sundays).

I was approved on Saturday 8/6/16; therefore, My new EAD card should arrive, at the latest, by Thursday 8/18/16--one day after my EAD card expires. That has me nervous because I can lose my job.

I got approved too guys!! On my elis account it states on status message that my petition application has been approved.

It won't show, I just checked today by curiosity right after reading some posts before this one.

My timeline is similar to yours by some days they received my app 5/12 and I expire 9/10 so hopefully I hear something soon this give me hope. Congrats again, and thank you for your reply.

what is the process to for a walkin? my Bio appointment is on the 23rd of this month, but i want to get things moving much faster.

I did a walk-in two days before my appointment. I wanted to wait for my appointment to arrive but something came up. Easy process for me, showed up, showed my ID and letter, fill out a form and did the bios. Took literally 10 minutes to complete.

interesting... so we can just walk in no problem? as long as we have our bio letter of course.
