I work for a large company as well, the largest institution in the medical center and they are placing me on a leave of absence effective August 18 (the day after my ead expires). I'm sure if you speak to HR they will offer you that option.

They started sending me reminders of my ead expiring since before the 150 day mark. I have a meeting with the Visa department in HR to find out more of what the leave of abscence process is like..

Praying it doesn't come to that because I need my steady income

I would submit a case inquiry 'case outside normal processing time'. I saw on another forum that someone did that and got approved within 3 weeks of that inquiry.

Wouldn't hurt to try.. that's what I'm going to do once I hit that mark.

I'm at 114 days since I was sent out the receipt notice. Would you mind grabbing me the link you saw so I can figure out what steps I need to take? Thanks in advance.

I am 108 days out since since the receipt notice. I called twice today and both the agents told me that the service center that checks applications from California is back logged right now. that the system doesn't let them do a service request because the office is barely getting through the January 15th applications from this year. They told me to call back next week or to make an info pass appointment and try to get an extension since my work permit expires next month on the 19th.

Jolly good news.

I'd submit an inquiry. I tried doing that yesterday but it told me I was not outside of normal processing times yet... So it cancelled the inquiry. Ugh.

I'm at 92 days.
