Calm down ..this is not even going to pass in the lame duck session. and the new congressional session will need new sponsors since Jon Kyl and Hutchinson are both retiring this year. By this January all the talk will shift to CIR

If you want something work hard for it and dont just wait for a green card to rain down the sky. for me at this point in my life I will take which ever path is passed.
same here^^

I respect everyone's opinion but I hope this passes I would like to have some type of visa I came here when I was 2 years old and I'm 19 turning 20 in december and to live and work and study and travel with this bill. I qualify for this bill if it passes then I can get green card threw employment but kinda sad they would change the age thing that means lots of people wouldn't qualify.

Bottom line, everyone likes this bill as long as it benefits them.

I would join the Marines in a heartbeat but with the language of this bill, I might just reconsider and continue my education instead.

From what I've understood is that you'll need 4 years of service in the first 6 years in order to apply for an extension of the "visa" to continue your status( Really? ) You're going to risk your life for a a chance to apply for an extension of this "visa" hoping that you don't get denied or get put back to the limbo you started from.

In my opinion, I think that is absurd and that those who served should at least be given a green card nothing short.

4 years for another visa vs the original dream act's 2 years for a conditional GC

I'd be happy if this passes but I hope they make the proper changes.

I love how he hinted that we could "get married" to become citizens... Not even citizenship can lure me into getting married.
I don't care about age limits, I hate those visa parts and reporting to DHS every 6 months like we are criminals. I might consider waiting time of 8 yrs but not the visa part, something like DACA with permision to travel would be nice.

It says no access to Green card if you are under the W- visa. Just saying.
