Sent in my renewal on 9.28, got approved on 10/13 and received card today. Didn't even have to do biometric. Feel cheated on the months I lost.

My rewewal 2021 timeline. EAD expiration was 10/21/2021. They approved my EAD 1 day before it expires.

05/31/2021 - Renewal sent.
06/14/2021 - Case under review.
09/17/2021 - Submit inquiry processing outside normal time.
10/08/2021 - Supposed to get a response by this date, but no response yet.
10/18/2021 - Contacted local congressional rep. AOC, no response yet.
10/20/2021 - Approved.

They should really make new EADs active the same day the old one expires, no matter how much time before expiration they get approved.

I know how time lines help on here, I don't log on here much and probably won't respond after this but thought about leaving mine here for information purposes. My expiration was going to be 4/22/2022

Notice: 1/13/2022 (also Bio reuse notice was on MyUSCIS same day)

Approved and Card in Production: 1/20/2022

Yes, I was surprised myself! I think the Bio reuse is a big part of why it was approved so fast.

Has anyone applied early and had their documents accepted since Biden was elected?

My new EAD expires in Summer 2023 and for student loan purposes I'll need to have it renewed by April 2023, the latest. So, I was considering sending it early again, but haven't heard about anyone else submitting like we did under Trump.

Does anyone know if with the new electronic uploads, they still consider the 150 day window? For example, if my current DACA expires in September 2023, and I submit my renewal in January, will they approve it or wait until I've hit the 150 day window?
