In case we have to fill out an application, some one should find a similar application to the one we will need to fill out so we can familiarize ourselves with the questions in advance.

Isn't Registered Provisional Immigrant a new status? If so, a new application will be created.

Permanent Residence - Ability to work, drive, travel authorization, what else is included here..benefits?

To me RPI is all we need IF there is definite travel authorization with no Advanced Parole BS. It's all in the mind. This bill is liberal as hell. They're trying to word it in such a way to bring as many GOP votes in as possible. It makes sense for them to make us wait 5 years. They need to clear the backlogs of people already in line. So this is the meaning of "getting behind the line"
I may be wrong but it seems that people already in line but living ilegally in the USA once the get the RPI they won't be able to adjust their status until they complete the 10 years RPI period (for non dreamers) Even when their priority date becames current. This section is from the outline document I haven't be able to find it in the actual bill.

Quote:
7) After 10 years, aliens in RPI status may adjust to Lawful Permanent Resident Status through
the same Merit Based System everyone else must use to earn a green card (described below)
if the following things have occurred:
o The alien maintained continuous physical presence
o They paid all taxes owed during the period that they are in status as an RPI
o They worked in the United States regularly;
o And demonstrated knowledge of Civics and English
o All people currently waiting for family and employment green cards as of the date of enactment have had their priority date

But it is, RPI is RPI for everyone, the difference is in how you get it and how long it lasts. Just start reading from page 87 and on.

I can't wait; I just read the entire portion of the DA section and there is NO age cap. Where is @IamAman? Dude, you're saved!

. . .whatever happens. We will all benefit some way. Let's just not argue over this RPI stuff. So many things can change.

He's not asking about PRI, he's asking about applying for Permanent Residency. If he is a dreamer, he can apply in 5 years, but what happens if he doesn't complete the higher education requirement? Will he just have to wait in line with everyone else? What page is that on?

Human nature, what are forms and fees where we've given up years of our lives? Really, fine me and drown me in paper for all I care as long as you don't continue to force me watch my life pass me by.

There is not an option for NOT completing higher education - it is required for PR under the DA.
