It is now in route to nbc. And hopefully the office of New Orleans is not too backed up and it won’t take long to receive an interview.
Dang! Anwhole year??? It took exactly 9 months for me.

I saw that. My AOS package is within the average, literally, of my office.

I got my I-130 approved in 9 months too. But by the time I got my I-693 done and everything else I was already 12 months when I sent off my I-485. I have a simple case too. I thought it was better this way. I was scared did it all with no lawyer. I just got my noa and it says my priority date is from when I filed I-130. So I’m hoping that means it won’t take as long for an interview. New Orleans is currently on August 2016 cases supposedly.

Hello everyone, your advice will be greatly appreciated here!

I feel like this should be a no brainer, but like always there is good intended advice from others that puts us in doubt.

So my question is the following, hopefully it makes sense. My wife and I recently got married, civil wedding, this past February 14th. We were each still living with our parents because we hadn't yet found a place to move in to (I can explain the reasons if that is even relevant). Now we're finally living together, and I started filling out all the paper work to adjust status (entry with inspection). People have told me that I should put that we have been living together since we got married, February 14th, instead of the date when we actually moved in together, which is the date in lease contract. Which one should I put down??

Again, I think is a no brainer and I should put the date in which we moved in together and is shown in the lease contract, so advice (even judgement) will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much!!!

Why lie? Just put down the date you moved in together.

Anyone tried an AOS by EB3 (employment sponsorship) with 245i adjustment (so you don't leave the country) ?
