This is what happens when you don't have solid leadership from the president on an issue, everyone in congress introduce their own bill and do their own thing. It's no longer the "DREAM Act" We have to distinguished now, whether it's the democrat DA, republican DA or Rubio DA.

That is exactly what is wrong.

I thought after that little girl confronted Michelle Obama about her mother being deported we would have had some movement, but nope. All we got were empty words, broken promises and more deportations.

And what is worse if something passes to help a small part of the dreamers. All the other dreamers will be left and out and can probably kiss any future relief goodbye. Although I understand not everyone will benefit under any of the bills so if one actually has a chance to pass even if it doesn't help me I will support it. I will only go against those bills that provide temporary relief because none of us want to be in this situation ever again.

If you are 21 and over then what happens?

You really think that the GOP will stand by the President let alone listen to him when they're all so focused on destroying this country to the ground and starting fresh with a new GOP president? They simply won't adhere to anything Obama has to say when the word, "compromise" has become such a hated word in Congress. This is the reason why there is so much obstruction and lack of progress in Congress.

At the same time, President Obama could have had shown more spine during the most controversial issues that took place. It's really a waiting game at this point to hope that a chunk of the GOP base gets ousted from Congress.

STARS Act isn't new at all, it was introduced/talked about around the time of the ARMS Act and the "PROUD" Act, i believe. They're all already dead, so focus on the real DA or Rubio's DA.

Good point! I can't believe that Michelle Obama has been quiet on this issue, why not look at that little scared girl as your own and help put pressure on your husband to stop splitting up families. She definitely lost some points with me with her blatant disregard for that little girl's plight. I guess as long as her bullshit Nutrition Bill passed, that's all that mattered to her.
