Sounds pretty realistic.

Enough with these short terms! They have proven to be useless! Only thing it does it gives more time for Republicans to deal with Democrats and get more votes to avoid a shutdown. If nothing has gotten done in 4 months why should we expect something to get done in 5 days!? Either they introduce a bill to the floor now or shut it down!

I don't want 5 days because I don't want dems to lose leverage and change their minds.

A week wait is better than a months wait and uncertainty...

If 5 days CR happens, that means Dem gains the upper hand.

No doubt. And this time I’m willing to bet Trump will keep his mouth shut and let a deal happen so he can sign off and go back to being a slob at his golf course.

We have been saying this since September! 5 days just gives enough time for members to change their mind about a shut down. No bill will be introduced in 5 days. I didn’t happened during the 4 month period and it won’t happen during the 5 day period. It’s time for Dems to act!
