I called it. A ruling against DACA would create chaos and force SCOTUS to take on the issue. This delay is simply to confirm Kavanaugh first then cancel DACA and have SCOTUS kill it once and for all.

Kavanaugh or no Kavanaugh, he could have issued the injunction yesterday and all Texas would have to do is wait until he's confirm before taking it to the Supreme Court. After 6 years later and 3 court orders requiring the continuation of DACA, Hansen simply doesn't want to be the one to put the final nail in the coffin.

No court that isn’t the Supreme Court will end daca. They simply don’t want to be know as the judged that killed it. They will forever be known as the the one person who took away a people’s jobs and impacted a multi billion dollar economy boost daca was giving.
