I will not call it a victory until it passes the house, senate and it's signed into law by POTUS.

On the meantime I will keep my feet on the ground.

I don't care also as long as I can legally work. I can even take a DACA-like program with the ability to do premium processing.

In other news, Obamacare will live. There should be a strategy to have young people sign up so that Obamacare can recover, effectively killing the GOP.

Also more news on Russia are killing us. This administration is effectively done.

Sheer incompetence all across the board... They thought they could wing it... Apparently it takes hard work to be president.

I wonder how the markets will react... We live in fucking strange times.

Exactly - RAC Act protects more people and allows for status to those who pursue efucation OR who produce for this country by choosing employment. It is actually quite generous in my opinion. Can they be reconciled? Any Il or SC contituents here on DAP that can reach out and call these senator district offices (not the DC office!!) and inquire??

The ACA repeal was the worst idea to pursue: mean legislation to take away care for vulnerable AMERICANS and punish the poor. It destabilized many insurance markets. Families have been in a state of anxiety over the possibility of their loved ones losing life-saving care. Hopefully this will allow for more sensible legislation that both sides can agree on.

The new Dream Act will be introduced in the next few days. It could take them months to discuss and put it up for a vote.

My hope is that DACA will remain until a permanent solution has been put in place by congress.

And there they are! The dynamic duo Graham and Durbin, God bless those men, have emerged and are by the loooks of it they're going to go for the kill from DOWN TOWN! There's no doubt there is intent behind this move. They're clearly trying to save DACA recipients before the showdown in September. I am praying Democrats vote for this and is approved. I really think it will if it goes for a vote. There is incredible sympathy for us in Congress besides idiots like Steve King.
