Ok so I just finished looking through the WE NEED OPRAH thread from back in '07 and I'm glad I did because some of my ideas had already been brought up. So does anyone know whatever happened with the teddy bear idea?
I had a similar idea but instead of teddy bears I thought we could all make and send her a vision board (she's big on those) with the college we want to attend, or what we want to major in. Also, I if anyone wants to start a new discussion on the Dream Act on the college and university message board on her website here is a link (I will do it if no one else wants to but I want it to sound good and I'm not too confident in my writing skills)

After doing some research I came across the idea to appear in smaller shows first. The goal is just to get on television first and work our way up to Oprah - everyone watches T.V including Oprah's producers and Oprah herself. Can anyone create a list of shows that are less popular but still watched by a good chunk of the public? ... also... does anyone know of a person who maybe has connections with T.V networks or with people who can help the topic get on the air? ... we need to start getting organized... we also need a list of those who would represent us should the topic be picked up (as well as their contact info). Ideally, we need one person who can keep in contact with the students and who can be reached by producers who may take interest in having the subject on the show.
