When thread delete notify

I been in other forums and If somehow your thread gets deleted; the mod, or whoever is doing an action to that thread would notify (PM) the poster.
Explaining the reasons why the action was taken, and if it is infringing any forums rules mention that as well.
Sounds like a responsible thing to do, Recently I posted something and My thread just disappeared on thin air, In my opinion no one likes that.

Just checked the logs. I don't see anybody deleting your thread...

Then I would love to know what happened to this thread , when I click on it it says
"No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator" I also checked manually by going to the news forums and other forums, and did not find it. I just assumed that is was deleted or moved; I might be wrong :/ .

Ah, I've only looked at the logs for the past day. (Those things are LONG! )

Yes, that thread was deleted since it did not follow the rules of the News Room section. The rules were changed recently. This brutal approach is the only way we could reclaim control of that part of the forum.

Please post threads of that nature in the Lounge in the future.

if mods close down threads they should notify the thread starter.

That would effectively double their work. I'm not willing to do that.

You can create a Post for each rule and just copy paste. Just a suggestion.

Stop nagging like little children. The forum rules are clearly posted; if you violate them, your thread is deleted. Simple.

I have nothing to contribute. I am sick of looking at Ark's name every time I look at this section.
