Read under Candy Crowley's tab.......says "Obama has made it obvious that he wasnt going to move on immigration reform until next year..."

another sound bit stating what i've been fearing all along. this hearing hosted by obama in june on immigration is nothing but to get the talks started. but its not gonna lead to major legislative floor time this year, according to these people.

It reads,

" there was some feeling ... when ( Obama) made it obvious that he was not going to move immigration reform until next year"

Key words " Made it obvious".

What does that mean? It means she is stating her opinion that Obama is not. she never said Obama has said he will not.

On the contrary President Obama has said countless times that he will push it this year. Also few other sources ( from other senators) say that he will.

The odds of CIR or DA happening this year is more than not happening. However, no one can predict the future. Just gotta wait and see and wish for the best.

an opinion based on what obama is doing and what he is implying. oh, obama is pushing it this year. getting it upto a vote is a completely different animal. obama has already said he doesnt think there are enough votes right now.
