I actually think this is a pretty good idea. I think we should get the fat ones to do it, though. Just to be safe.

But, I agree that we would need to make sure that all cameras were there first, for it to be effective.

I'm sure it be hard for those who need to eat a lot for athletic activities. We would just collapse and not preform as well as we do. I recommend boycotting things or a for of protest all over the U.S Such as Every one ins CA, TX, NY that supports dream act to rally up or something. Something that can actually make a big impact.

I don't fasting will help.

I do however think that sharing our story would help tremendously. We don't need to hit national news, but we need to share with our close (citizen) friends. For years the media has called us "Illegal Alien" and it has scared people. We need to come out of the shadows and show that we are not "Illegal Aliens" we are just like anyone else. This will educate the general public and get the momentum rolling.

Easier said than done. There is no way I would even dream of telling my girlfriend's (Republican) parents about my situation. I did however tell my g/f and she was completely empathetic. She's a start

I say we fast AND boycott. The bigger the impact the better.

They have to acknowledge us one way or another. We're done sitting in the shadows! Our time is now.

I think FASTING WILL WORK. IT DOES not have to be a full fast of food. Folks could fast for half a day, till sunrise or skip lunch or give up eating macdonalds or a true fast with only water and fruits.

We can then alert local and national media that this is going on to show support for the DA and highlight the bar-less prison situation it puts innocent kids in the United States.

Alternatively, what do you think of the idea of Positive Feedback/Declaration.

ie- at a particular time every day for a number of days or months, supporters of DA will go to different cities and sing powerful patriotic songs such as God bless America and Star Spangled Banner. The idea is to let everyone know that we will make great citizens and that this is the country we know and love.

Ex. 12pm every day- lunch time- leading up to the debate on DA. Supporters undocumented and documented meet up and sing for 20-30 minutes and go back to work or school. What is important is not the amount of time but the consistency. Day in Day out till the DA gets passed we should have this singing.

however, i dont think people should fast for half a day. i dont think people would really care. according to world vision, people can fast for 30hrs straight without something happening to them and if someone is fasting i think they should do it atleast for 30hrs. (or as long as they can)
i think the singing idea is great. it would be great if people get together and hold hands while they sing! but while they are not singing they can read books. we need atleast 4 people at each site to make it "official" protests and university campuses should be perfect. we should also get permits from the city to make sure we can protest peacefully without being deported.

^^^ agreed. which also means we need people in charge in a few major cities, making sure these things happen.
