Hey all,

First, for those of you in Phoenix, Arizona:

There is a pretty active and large organization based around the Phoenix Metro area in Arizona called The Arizona Dream Act Coalition.

There are over 50 active members that meet up to put up DREAM Act signs, pass out "call your legislators fliers," make presentations to high schools and colleges regarding the DREAM Act, meet with legislators and promote the DREAM act in various other ways. They've been featured on various media outlets including Univision and have done significant work for the DREAM Act. The organization is open to both DREAMERS and DREAMER allies.

If you live in the Phoenix area you should definitely contact them if you want to be involved, the email is [email protected].

Additionally, you should check out their website at www.azdreamactcoalition.org and read about some of the stuff they've done over the past few months.

Second, this is a bit of a longshot, but is there anyone in Waco, TX that wants to organize any DREAM ACT activities here? I recently moved here to attend Law School and was hoping to meet up with any DREAMERS that may be in Waco to promote the DREAM act. My email is sundevil2007(at)gmail.com. I used to coordinate for the Arizona Dream Act Coalition and am looking to do something similar here.

Thanks and all the best.

Jose

Went to the graduation last night and it was great!

So many students from ASU, NAU, and local community colleges where there with cap and gowns supporting the DA. Also I saw lots of parents as well.

I like to thanks all the guest speakers that attended and the skits that were preformed! it sure ways great to see everyone there!!

Call your Senators and do whatever you can. There will be another ADAC meeting this Sunday, pm me for more info!

Yes, he is rather scary. If DREAM gets done and that old fart still happens to be in office, I will personally lead the "anti-arpaio movement"
