December 1st is 20days from now.. you dont have to wriite a BIG 3 pages letter, just an essay explaing why DREAM ACT would be good for the country, to help us, we did nothing wrong, What you want to do in your life, but cant due to the fact we dont have documents,

So December 1st it is.. but i dont know on where to send them...?? any suggestions??

I would like to help, this is a great idea! Reminds me of the movie, "The Network", when the people sent letters to the White House and they were forced to change their actions. Someone needs to organize this.

What address do we mail to?
What header/title do we include?
What is the end-line slogan (awesome plan)?
Is there a specific format like paragraph 1 is about..., paragraph 2 about... something like that?

and... Just write an essay stating your situation, what would dream act would do to your life, How you want to have a better life, we were brought here by our parents, we didnt make that choice..For slogan.. PLEASE PASS THE DREAM ACT.

my letter is written and ready to go I'll be sending to the white house and to d:shcumer everyone make sure your ready! this has to be synchronized right in order to have the best noticeable impact with all this talk about immigration coming up we need now more than ever to make our voices be heard!!!!!!

man i haven't been on this website in a while, i'm down for letter writing to white house.

i have a stupid question and i'll take the eye rolls...are you guys planning on sending your letters out ON Dec 1st or sending it on like Nov 25th so the letters can get to the president on Dec 1st?

Also, unless you guys have plans to flood the White House Visitor's Center with letters, I'm pretty sure the address for all White House correspondence is:

For you who are still thinking about sending a letter to the White House, PLEASE just do it! The closing slogan PLEASE PASS THE DREAM ACT sounds good to me. Maybe just 3 paragraphs: MY PAST--share where you came from (and how old you were) and why your family came to this country. Help legislators get to know you a bit. MY PRESENT--what's going on now, how you've achieved so much in your schooling, how hard you work, involvement in your community, how hard it is to not feel secure living here, what fears you feel right now. MY FUTURE--what you dream of accomplishing, your goals and having this country as your permanent home. You ARE the generation that can end the cycle of hiding in the shadows, and you have so much to give! My father never went to high school; he would be so proud of the dignity you carry with you in this journey into the light of your own full pursuit of happiness as citizens of America.

hmm I think that it is a great idea to mail letters to Washington. but I think that we must put out a video in the channels like we did with Dobbs giving a date for people to write and send the letters so they get to Washington within the same week.

This video commercial should be aired all around the US and Im down to being in it!

I will write a letter too! Maybe like this the government will know that we speak English!
