I wouldn't pay attention to those "sources". This article was written by Dana Bash who used to be one of the top reporters on the Lou Dobbs show. These sources may be from the sessions office for all we know. LOL

That's actually a very good point. I didn't consider that.

Health care is different. Please do not compare the two.

When hooligans wont support something that BENEFITS them, the hell are they supposed to support something that is of no use to them.

the right wing is basically full of racists no matter how nicely you put it who cannot stand the thought of a Black man in office. Anything Obama does they will attempt to shoot down just because of his race.

Hes the right man who was unfortunately elected in the wrong time. If Hillary was the POTUS, half the resistance you see towards all these bills would have never occurred : something to ponder about.

I watched the throughout the day yesterday and they had all these republican/democratic strategist saying how Immigration Reform aint happening at all. They also said that the votes aren't there , but if they do decide to push for CIR then its to show the Hispanic voters that they tried even if they failed. They also mentioned how Reid is all about this since he doesn't want to lose his seat.

I dont know if I should take their word but it disappointed me since there is a bit of momentum for CIR.

If CIR is introduced in the Senate in the next weeks, is going to be hard, but not impossible.
If CIR is not introduced, the chances are ZERO.
Take your pick.

im not saying dont bring CIR. heck I want CIR brought up and as much as I hate to admit it... I wont shed a tear if it gets defeated. It will finally be cloture for me and thats something that I badly want.

I know if CIR dosnt pass, democrats will take a mojor beating and with republicans in office you can forget CIR for another 4-5 years (whilst democrats dangle the CIR bill in hopes to get re-elected).

Im not ready to commit my life to this vicious cycle of indecisiveness. With one party getting elected on the pretense of action and then have the other party re-elected due to inaction. Its a never ending cycle and I wholeheartedly suggest to this community that they mark nov 2010 as an absolute D-day to take control of their lives elsewhere, should democrats lose majority.
