I'm sort of new around here, so I might be a bit ignorant, but educate me if you please.

This Act needs backing and yes the march is great but perhaps we should attempt to rally in our own small ways too. The enviornmatalists groups stand out on the street all day, nearly every day, so why can't we??

I've noticed that most petitioning is done online nowadays, but I've become a bit frustrated by how static this Act has become. I live in Colorado and I was wondering if door to door soliciting is still allowed, if so, how and where I would post/mail signatures and wether there is a template available for a DREAM Act Petition Form.

Also if any one else lives in the Denver area, it would be great to meet to and get a group together to discuss doing something active in our area. I know many think this is risky, but no one ever died from to dirty looks.

So thanks for reading if you've gotten this far, I really want to do something to push this forward and I seriously need help on learning how to do so.

PS. post or send me your account names if you're interested in meeting up and getting something done locally, and remember like I said I'm new.

Online petitioning is not effective. We have developed strategies on this forum and it deals with going to local organizations, forming Dream Act groups if there isn't one near you, and pushing your local reps and making relationships with them.

This is a much more personal approach than an online petition. Trust me.
