just sent a complaint and posted a comment, I wonder if we do this can people change their minds on dream act, like if we post real facts and figures and fight inaccurate articles with comments that will discredit the editors

I posted this:
It's not just about financial aid for college. It's also about basic human rights as guaranteed in the Constitution and work authorization, as you mentioned very briefly in your article.

Most DREAM eligible young adults/kids will not even make it to college, as MPI points out. Only 1 in 4 will actually benefit from the bill if enacted.

You also seem to use data that is biased to support your argument and need to balance your perspectives instead of presenting one-sided perspective. Students will not be eligible for Pell Grants and LPR status is not automatic but granted as conditional and permanent LPR is given only after a review of the student's history and eligibility after the 6 conditional years.

Please do not feed into the hate and anti-immigrant sentiments as you are doing now and correct the errors in your article before more people read it.

Somebody who writes well please write a counter article to his article. PLEASE!!

While you guys are at it, send emails to the author ---> [email protected]

It's sad how he's supposedly an "expert" in immigration yet he lacks knowledge in that sector.

Don't write to the author. He's bogus and so is his article. Instead, everyone click on the "report this" link button on the bottom right of the article. The Washington Examiner is sort of a free lance, iReport type of news website. Anyone can write for them. To give you an idea the kind of person this fake news writer is, take a look at www.angrylatinovoter.com where I think he may be one of the admins. He truely has no real source, he says he got his info from our own advocacy group websites and the U.S. Dept. of Ed. On the article it reads like he did the math himself.
