nothing we don't know.. but for those of you guys asking what the schedule might be like:

Policy attorney Adey Fisseha of the National Immigration Law Center says that if Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid brings it to the floor, after this week the Senate would have only two short windows to pass the act before the end of 2010 — right after Labor Day or just after the November election.

We've been getting a lot of media attention lately!

lets pretend that by some miracle Reid passes the dream act. Nancy Pelosy and the Hispanic Caucus Don't want to separate the dream act from a CIR bill. Proponents of "CIR or nothing" want to ride the popularity of "DA" and pass a broad reform bill. Many say they support the dream act then they add "with comprehensive immigration reform".

IN 2007 when the dream act failed many that supported the bill voted against it because they wanted it to be part of a Broader reform package, nothing will change their minds. Everyone is concentrated on the Senate and Reid they fail to see the threat from the House, Nancy Pelosy, and the Hispanic Caucus. How are we going to get passed them? If i'm Wrong please correct me!

Could you be specific on whom supporter Dream Act 2007 and voted against it in 2007 ? I don't recall of any. I know that McCain skipped the vote for Dream Act 2007; even if he had been there to vote, the vote tally still wouldn't have reached the magic number 60 anyway.

Nancy Pelosi once stated that the Senate has to lead on immigration reform, then the House will follow their suit. As a result, we have seen the border security bill originated from the Senate. I have no doubt that Pelosi could flex her muscle to garner enough votes for the Dream Act if it passed the Senate today. C'mon, if Pelosi could manage to pass health care reform which was initially opposed by the Hispanic Caucus because the law bars illegal immigrant from participating in the insurance exchange, Dream Act would be a piece of cake for her.
