hmm i read somewhere that any effort made at this point will be washed away due to the upcoming primary election. any effort placed at the moment is just for show to win votes. if obama wanted he could move the cir swiftly like he did with the health care matter. do something right for once.
Wtf? Since when did health care pass swiftly? It took a year and a reconciliation procedures which requires 51 votes to pass and it concerns only budgetary matters.
I realize the stress over the situation here, but would people just look at the plain cold facts?
Obama doesn't vote in the senate. Senators vote in the senate. And Obama doesn't have a great deal of leverage over senators.
