Last time around, they had the excuse – some of them – that they didn’t want to vote because [Senate Majority Leader] Harry [Reid] was going to put the DREAM Act in there on immigration. He now says he’s not going to put the DREAM Act in there. He’s going to put that in some other place. So now the question is why do Republicans — Sen. Snow, Sen. Collins and Sen. Brown — what reason would they have for voting against the whole bill?

by somewhere else i hope he means stand alone, i really hope he doesn't want to attach it to CIR which in my opinion is DEAD!!

Adding DADT to the DOD bill is their best (and most likely last) chance at getting it repealed. The way that vote goes will have HUGE consequences for Senator Brown.. Brown is up in 2012 in a pretty much 100% Blue state that was the first state to legalize Gay marriage. Snowe and Collins are both persuadable.

Let's see how the House deals with the Dream Act.
