Of course its not going to be easy, there will be a lot of haters but don't give in to any of them. There will be time. People who say its dead are the ones who will apply first and cry tears of joy when it passes.

Guys, sooner or later reality has to set in. Reality is a bitch, don't get me wrong.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying it will pass indefinetly but I guess you already know it will fail. What I was just saying is that we have a bigger momentum than we had before, and we can take advantage of it or just wait for it to fail again. I'm sure most of us already have plan B but if it passes great, if it doesn't then life goes on. But why not take the chance?

reality seems like

1. alot more politicians are for the Dream Act
2. they're not tacking it onto a gay and abortion friendly bill this time
3. the proponents have learned from past mistakes and are not parading around with Mexican flags (think of how voters feel when they see people with Mexican flags demanding things in the US)
4. the authors of the bill are willing to make small changes to get more votes

I may be wrong, but it seems like this is the only time all these things have come together.

From what I've understood, they go their way , Reid tackled Taxes "before any other issue" as their hyped up letter demanded, now that it failed, that's another issue, so it appears as Mitch McConnell and Reid have an understanding to allow other votes:

QT
Speaking midway through a rare Saturday morning session on tax-cut votes, Reid said he will file procedural motions on Monday to set up cloture votes on Wednesday for an impeachment proceeding against a judge and various other procedural motions including the DREAM Act. Reid said he made the decision based on agreements with GOP Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) .

UNQT

Notwithstanding the circumstances under which the vote may take place, lets all call congress and e-mail, the vote is coming in large part because of our efforts in calling on Reid to invoke clouture on D.A.

Although I like what I hear, Thehill is the only source that is claming that Reid and McConnell have decided to leave tax cuts for the last and get others things out the way.

That would imply that Republicans arent that bad at all... which you know isnt true.

They are holding every legislation hostage and putting peoples lives at risk (expiring uneployment benefits) all for that top 2% of Americans who in all actuality dont even need the money.

Nohthing here for republicans to lose.. incase they stall it

OK bro, then how do your thoughts add value to our cause,?? other than prepping us for the worst, I think we all know Republican's attitudes, but we need to be optimistic, I know the next comment would be something along the lines, am just being real.....
