Any one of you who don't believe that we have been pushed down time and again due to racial motivations is sorely delusional. We apparently fail to "assimilate" when many of us have shown them our willingness to go above and beyond that. We need to show these people that we will not go idly through the night, that we wont simply shut up because we're not citizens. We have conformed and assimilated to this country, we love this country...we have paid enough for a crime we did not commit.

This man is choosing our cause over his seat in the Congress. He is putting money on it. I'm not a pessimist nor a cynic. But Obama and Democrats did not deliver. It's not that they could not, they did not. We had the political capital to pass this easy Dream Act in the first year. What does Obama do now? Wait until the final hour as a last minute ditch to pass it. What? Like Republican senators are supposed to vote yes because they received a phone call from some black guy they hate? 260 House Democrats and 59 Senate Democrats could not get the job done. What makes you think Republican take over of House and 53 Democrats in the Senate will get it done? I'm with Gutierrez. He's a freakin gangster. Tomorrow we are the civil rights advocates. |
