WRONG, the original DREAM Act didn't have an age limit so they would have qualifies. You are selfish and frankly I'm glad you don't qualify now fu** off and delete your account.

I am sorry but you have to understand that this bill started in 2001 and people like me were qualified. I was qualified in 2006 and 2007, even in the DADT bill until recently Senate took the age cap and Retro off. How do you think I feel?

I am not the only one excluded. There are thousands and thousands but they aren't on this board posting about it.

Mccain wrote the 2007 bill. He had the most passion just like Durbin and Luis. Mccain still wants to pass this thing but he lost his election and wants to secure the border first.

On the other hand, however, you come off as selfish and it upsets me. All your negativity about the passage of the bill tomorrow is repulsive. I think you should abstain from posting ANYTHING until the fate of the bill is decided. You are basically praying for the bill that would take ME out of the hole I am in, my sister, I've cousins who would be eligible; and you want it to fail because they excluded YOU? what about the other millions that would benefit? Get it through you head, they will NEVER vote on the original DREAM Act again. Now that this was put on the table Reps. will never settle for the previous more generous version. So start working to get CIR passed in the next congress. Didn't you use to defend McCain all the time? Well, lobby him for CIR! I would have never wished this situation for you and I know that you are speaking with pain but with all the comments you have been posting today it almost makes me feel like you deserve not qualifying.

Someone should ban him from posting anything until after the vote. IMHO

We get it, you're upset about the age thing, you think its unfair, yara yara yara. I wonder then, did you think it was unfair for the, -eh I don't know- 35-40 year olds who were left out of the previous version of the DA but would have qualified for it otherwise? Or did it only become an issue once you were left out?
the latter is correct.

My respect for DA User in the past is gone now. He is now so annoying with that Retro version in every post and all the pessimism he relates now because he is not included. I understand how it sucks, but all his first 2000 posts of blind optimism and then changing to a totally different person leaves me a weird impression.

At first he would be still optimistic that this would pass, but I guess I misjudged him.

Sadly though, I have to admit that it doesn't seem like we have 60 votes yet. Let's make calls to these senators...*fingers crossed*

Anyhow, I will make some calls for those senators who are undecided before I go to sleep.

Yes I do but the thing is that they knew that from the start they were never a Dreamer to begin with.

The thing I am upset about is that they took the potential Dreamers away who already have a Degree.

"McCain wrote the 2007 bill."

Buddy, he didn't even show up for the vote. Seriously? Are you even trying? I'm starting to think you're a troll or have serious mental disabilities. Either way, stfu.

Now you know how John Mccain feels right? He was all about CIR/DA and now he is a totally different person.

I am very sorry.
