Murkowski is a she, and we shouldn't assume we have her vote. Also, Hagel left in 2008. Who knows about him too. I mean, back then we still had guys like Graham, McCain and Hatch.

Given that Jorge Ramos has claimed there are 56 non-Republican Senators that support DREAM, I think I should create a new list in order to find out who these 56 are.

1. Akaka
2. Inouye
3. Begich
4. Murray
5. Cantwell
6. Wyden
7. Merkley
8. Feinstein
9. Boxer
10. Reid
11. Bennet
12. Udall
13. Udall
14. Bingaman
15. Dorgan
16. Conrad
17. Johnson
18. Klobuchar
19. Franken
20. Feingold
21. Kohl
22. Harkin
23. Durbin
24. Bayh
25. McCaskill
26. Lincoln
27. Landrieu
28. Levin
29. Stabenow
30. Brown (OH)
31. Rockefeller
32. Nelson (FL)
33. Webb
34. Warner
35. Mikulski
36. Cardin
37. Coons
38. Carper
39. Casey
40. Specter
41. Menendez
42. Lautenberg
43. Schumer
44. Gillibrand
45. Lieberman
46. Dodd
47. Whitehouse
48. Reed
49. Kerry
50. Leahy
51. Sanders
52. Shaheen

I can't reach 56 Democratic supporters of DREAM, like what Ramos says. There are 6 more member of the Dem caucus (Tester, Baucus, Nelson, Pryor, Manchin, and Hagan), but I don't consider any of them yes votes. The only thing I can conclude is that Ramos is wrong when he says that 56 non-Repub Senators support DREAM. There may indeed be 56, but that includes some Repubs such as Lugar, Bennett, Murkowski, and Collins.

The only way Ramos can be right is if he has knowledge about those 6 Dems Senators I consider no votes, and I am wrong about 4 of them being no votes. Perhaps Ramos knows that Manchin, Baucus, Hagan, and Tester are secretly yes votes?

your wrong!!!

"3/5ths of the Senate (60 out of 100 Senators elected and sworn)"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filibuster

if 58 vote yey and 38 vote nay and 4 sit out the vote that is 58 + 38 =96 >>> 58/96 = 3/5th who voted. Thats exactly why we didn't need 218 votes to win it in the house! we won it with 216-198 (1/2+) we were actually 17 votes above the needed! cause some reps didn't vote!

If you don't know the facts why assume?
