I would beware using telephone numbers listed in other sites.

the numbers might automatically register for or against votes regardless of what you say.

intelligence taken from the alipac website, they were going crazy because apparently someone found out that they had been using a telephone number that was registering their votes as being for the DREAM Act.

than again, I think we have also done the same...

Yeah but as much as I hate those organizations, I trust their count much more than ours. Here, people edit yes and no votes based on no sources or proof at all and it annoys the hell out of me.

I am not talking about their count. I am talking about the telephone numbers that are used to contact the senators.

They were frantic and put a sticky on a note about how they were using a telephone number that was automatically registering their calls as for votes when they called a senator.

I am just saying, beware when getting telephone numbers from sites that are against the DREAM Act and try to corroborate the telephone numbers with reliable sources that we know are for the DREAM Act to make sure we are dialing the correct telephone number, not a telephone number that will automatically count our vote as against the DREAM Act.

You gotta question how they are able to count that many votes so fast if everyone is just leaving messages. I mean, do they listen to thousands of messages all day long and determine whether the person is a yes vote or no vote from what they say.

Its like the close door in an elevator, that button is not connected to anything, its just there to give people the feeling that they have control over the doors closing on the elevator.
