If Meg Whitmen wins the race for governer of california, you might have to take California of that list....

"Meg Whitman: Don't be fooled by misleading ads, my position on immigration is crystal clear. Illegal immigrants are just that, illegal. I am 100 percent against amnesty for illegal immigrants. Period. As Governor, I will crack down on so-called sanctuary cities like San Francisco who thumb their nose at our laws. Illegal immigrants should not expect benefits from the state of California. No driver's license and no admission to state-funded institutions of higher education. And I'll create an economic fence to crack down on employers who break the law by using illegal labor."

One would think that California has bigger problems than good people trying to get an education and better themselfs....I'm getting tierd of this crap, and I live in california..

Minnesota also gives you a in-state tution rate if you have lived in the state for 2 years (maybe 3 check on this plz someone) or if you have graduated from a local high school in MN and no questions asked at least for undergrad =)

You forgot to mention Nevada. I'm going to western Nevada college in Carson City, I pay instate tuition, and I even got a state scholarship for 10000 dollars which really helps out a lot. I didn't even have to sign any document that said I would try to get legal in the future.

For those of you that want to receive in-state tuition but have not worked a day in your life in those states, what makes you think that is right? What makes you think that you, as an undocumented and illegal resident, should be able to attend those schools at in-state tuition while the legal resident from another state has to pay out-of-state? You are very lucky that our politicians are too slow to see how greedy you all are. I don't say that to be mean, but it is true, you all are so "gimme gimme gimme" that it is sickening.

This assumption coming from someone who fails to realize that some of us do work and pay taxes. How amazing.

Well, the fact that many are doing that right now gives that legal American resident a right to say that.

You all don't get it from your perspective, but we have been hearing and understanding you all's perspective for a while now.
