The 2011 could become the worst year for undocumented immigrants living in Texas .
The reason: there are more than 60 bills against illegal immigration in Texas .

Fines on employers, remittances and carriers
* HB 140, HB 202, HB 178, HB 878, SB 84: Require contractors to state agencies or recipients of funds participate in the electronic federal E-verify to verify whether their employees have permission to work and add a penalty civil.
* HB 17: Creating the crime of trespassing for being in Texas without permission from immigration authorities.
* HB 303: Create a tax on remittances from outside the United States.

I wonder the prospect of these bills passing. What if in-state tuition is banned for Texas Dreamers? This would make a significant difference in many people's future plans... or maybe not.

I have been talking about this now for a couple weeks . There is noway to stop them this whole state is run by Republicans now they have a 99-52 vote majority and there passing crazy bills left and right and the democrats have no voice. Bad deal , and the Republicans get to draw the up the voting districts that last another 10 years again this time so were screwed.

Here are the tough ones.

* HB 17: Creating the crime of trespassing for being in Texas without permission from immigration authorities. means you can be deported on the spot no questions asked

* SB 151: Prohibits undocumented immigrants receive sentences of community supervision. Means you get deported having done jail time you have to put that on any application you try to get for citizenship.


These 99 rednecks are going to screw a lot of people.

* HB 293: Remove the benefits of a inidividuo been born in Texas to undocumented parents. this means there going to screw the kids over
