This is just fucking nuts. I'll be thankful if NY doesn't pass a bill that worsens my situation, and some people think this might actually pass. |

The only thing that has a chance of passing is some sort of an ID if they really put some seriously good enough spin on it in the media. The rest of the bill is just a bunch of welfare provisions, even the jobs with the state of new york. The salaries would technically be covered using taxpayers money, which people won't agree with, and the state has projected a $10B deficit already, so the salaries aren't even backed by an actual product and this would lead to even higher deficit spending.
