By providing the driving certificated it could have added to the provisions things like we are only allowed to buy lowcarbon emissions vehicles, maybe only smart cars...this way we would increase traffic too much or reduce the amount of pollution that goes into the air.

Everyone remind me why we use these forums, oh thats right to support each other and spread news about the Dream Act. But instead now we get people like real05 to call out people and call them uncalled names. Little by little I m starting to distance myself from these forums because of people like him that have nothing to do but to troll and argue so they can sleep better at night. And real05 no one likes the truth, not even you.

It's a long stretch from the Texas dream. We're eligible for state monies.....and I see no mention of in-state tuition. It's a good move however.

unvalled names? Wth bert.... Then what are you here? A citizen? Im sorry if u got offended and trust me it bothers me that someone is too weak and cant stand up for himself and fight for his rights here. Instead of saying troll...why? Why troll? Because i said the drivers certificate is not in the BILL? Im the one thats not happy about it so what is ur problem in the first place? Saying illegal or undocumented is the same thing. Jesus, grow up. I have friends and family members in that situation and i got happy when i heard about the drivers certificate. Yes we all unite for things like this. Dont go, stay here. U might hate me for hearing ur own truth but the others need u.

My post wasn't mainly aimed at you, but if you took offense to it thats ok. Reason why i acted a bit defensive was because these forums get constantly trolled by the people that oppose DA, you probably haven't been here long to realize this, but you are more than welcomed to look around and try to find those posts (although moderators probably deleted them already) And im completely ok with who I am, I don't need papers to tell me what I can and can't do. My studies will never be taken from me, and well right now I m in the progress of getting my GC, but the fight is long from finished I will not stop helping to push for DA/CIR until all Dreamers are taken care of. Our Gov isn't perfect, but I m sure something will come out of it eventually.

We do get in state-tuition, since 2004 I think . I also think that no matter that happens the dreamers in Illinois should be thankful because we have it very easy compared to our fellow dreamers in other states.

its still not right that they are not offering the drivers certificate. The goverment should realize these kids need to go to school and come back so why is it that this illinois dream act is not including it in the bill?

I was recently told that the driving certificate part will actually be brought up standalone later this year.

I am tired of stand alone shit! Just pass the DREAM Act with the drivers certificate in it. Otherwise, this DREAM Act in my state has no major achievement when it comes to giving us Dreamies a piece of mind when driving from school to work or home.

If the drivers certificate is not attached at the end, then this will not something I will like to feel proud of.
