If you are from Connecticut and are interested in going down to DC to see the hearing in person, the group "CT Students for a DREAM" is providing transporation and lodging! Cost is $10 - covers transportation, lodging and food!
We will leave Connecticut on the morning of June 28th (location TBA) and come back June 29th

facebook event: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=211400585565861

On June 28th we will attend the Senate Hearing and on June 29th we will take part in the "DREAM Graduation" and lobby legislators on Capital Hill!

If you are interested in joining us, register ASAP using the online registration form: http://bit.ly/mLJeDh Fill it out to reserve your spot and we’ll send you more info!

Please pass this info on to your friends and anyone else that might be interested in going. we want as many people as possible to flood that hearing room and Capital Hill.

There are also groups providing transporation from NJ, NY, MD and other states. Register using the form and they will get in touch with you.

contact me with any questions!

I think Republicans should be allowed to make modifications on parts that may appear "vague" to them, such as describing the process on how to prove that a person has been here before the age of 16.

Attend.
If you are in the DC-area, please come by and watch the hearing live. We want to show members of Congress how much support the DREAM Act has by packing the hearing room to capacity. If you are unable to attend, you can view a live webcast of the hearing.

Yes, but maybe it should be detailed specifically on the bill to quell such concerns from the right. You know how Republicans are.
