Try doing this, unless you're a political activist and it's your job or something , if not , stay away from all political news , everything like CNN , whatever political websites you check regularly anything and everything to do with Obama, republicans , dream act , CIR , this forum , everything , nothing on tv no fox news , just entertain yourself with anything that's not related to politics It's like an anticipation build up For when you check up on things later i tryed it this year from January until about may , I didn't wanna know shit about anything at all to do with politics but I had to check things again just in case . Imma do it again starting this monday till like september 20 man it frees your mind so much and makes time flow by better

Everyone's getting it wrong. We don't need a majority in both house and senate not to mention a democratic president, we need a super majority for both house and senate and a democratic president. Once that happens we need lots of pressure from the moment those guys take their oaths, and we need leadership that forces the party to stand together. The Democrats know as long as they dangle the carrot they get our votes. The republicans know as long as they aren't getting our votes they need to get everyone else's, which means a hard stance on immigration. The democrats know its suicide to let this legislation pass but its also suicide to never bring it up. Come 2013 should the political atmosphere turn republican i would not be surprised if all of a sudden an assortment of measures were to hit the floor at which point they would support a very watered down version of the dream act potentially barring a large majority of us from benefiting from it. That however will let them champion immigration reform to the polls for the next election, that will also give the democrats a false hope of success because at least its something.

Lifedreamer, I'm your age but start making a backup plan just in case buddy.

Just get out the home and find something. It will take few days but you definitely will. Trust me when the money starts flowing in, you'll love it. You'll be able to do whatever you want and also at the same time save for your future. You're in California, a very immigrant friendly state. So take advantage of it. Just get out of your home.
