I'm sure most would like to exile criminal citizens and drunk drivers if it were possible, but of course where are you going to send them to

whether you take it seriously or not mean diddly sh*t. drunk driving for illegals is a deportable offense and prohibits you from obtaining any immigrational benefits in the future.

they cant exile citizens for drunk driving because well...they are citizens...they can, however, deport your illegal ass outta here....because well...you are an illegal...without the same rights and benefits of being a citizen....LOL

That's the thing, as much as we bitch and groan about drunk driving and get on a high horse and put on our moral hat; the law does not consider it such a bad crime as to make it a felony on first time offenders (unless there's vehicular manslaughter or some other shit). They'll certainly ship your ass to jail and take your prints however making deportation a likely occurrence.

As much as I'd like Dream Act to pass, I don't understand the mentality of being so quick to throw others under the bus. Cell driving and text-driving won't land you in the can, yet both are proven to be just as bad or worse than drunk driving; but I'll be damned if we start condemning other illegals over the practice, cuz well, everyone's done it.

Do you know how many times I've been confronted while discussing illegal immigration in person and on the internet about illegal immigrant drunk drivers that kill X amount of people *even though the numbers are extremely overblown? A good 75% of the time...as if illegals are the only ones who engage in such behavior. The point is that if we're living in the country illegally, then we should try to live under the radar to the extent of not attracting negative attention...while we're in this predicament by no choice of our own, we should try to be the model citizens we claim to be and if that means throwing people who drive drunk "under the bus" while our legal friends do the same thing and get a slap on the wrist, then so be it. There is no place in society for people like this and if it were up to me i would personally shoot every damn drunk/buzzed driver for the stupidity of risking other people's lives.
