Rengifo, 24, who has lived in the United States since he was 6, is one of a number of immigrants in the Bay Area and around the country caught in a bureaucratic tangle: While the administration has announced its intent to change immigration policy, it hasn't yet implemented a new system, so planned deportations are proceeding.

I saw this report on Spanish broadcast. I think some immigration officials who disagree with the Obama administration's deportation initiative will try to scare people into signing their deportation orders. Plus, he and his family have not been deported; the deportation date his been "postponed." What he has to do is to keep challenging the deportation orders.

So, if you are ever arrested, do not listen to all the nonsense or putdowns that border officials tell you; get a lawyer and fight the deportation.
