when do you think DA will be on the floor?
I think it will be E-Verify along with DA.

I would say around Nov/Dec.

In any case, whatever happens, I know for sure that the DA will pass. Obama has promised it. Not to mention, if anyone has forgotten but back in August Latina Lista wrote an article that Durbin met with some Republicans to discuss how he can pass the DA. So it is confirmed that the DA will pass. I think the Republicans don't want to support it in public because it would piss off the Tea Party, which is smart of them cause the Tea Party are really a bunch of losers...SERIOUSLY. But the Democrats are showing their public support for it cause I think when it passes, they will get the credit from the Latino and immigrant community. Either way, both parties are making smart strategic moves, but sadly its for political gain. Think of it as like a favor. You do something for me, I'll do something for you. But if anyone finds out what we did for eachother, from a Republicans point of view, I'll deny it. That's just how I look at politics. Period. But to all of you Dreamers, hang in their. Patience is a virtue.

That may be true for some mainstream Republicans. But we need to start admitting the fact that there are some republicans who are anti-immigrant because they look at us as a demographic threat. Remember Pat Buchanan's book 'The Vanishing Race'? People like Lamar Smith, Peter King, Steve King, Duncan Hunter et. al. - they passionately want us out. Most of us are in this situation with no way out is because of the 1996 law. Guess who the architect was? Lamar Smith.

Well all Republicans don't think alike or agree on everything. But even if they want immigrants out, do you think that's going to happen under Obama's watch? Look what that Republican Joe Wilson did for a close friend of his. He sponsored a private bill in 2009 to grant legal status to a long time friend of his. What do you have to say about a REPUBLICAN who did that? Hold your breath.Between now and the end of this year, there is going to be alot of talk about the Dream Act...especially this month and in October. Guess you'll just have to toon in and see what happens.

My seemingly 'LOL' outburst was in response to your 'Obama has promised it.' line. We are in an absurd limbo - and politicians play games with our lives. Honestly, Obama's broken promises made me sad. I truly believed in this guy. I volunteered for his presidential campaign within the perimeters of what legality allowed me to. He gave us hope and then he clearly played political games with our lives. He had the super majority but he didn't do anything to help us.

Yes, that does happen in politics. Backroom negotiations as some like to mention.

And when I wrote that, I was just encouraging you that GOD is in control and HE got the last word. Look, all I'm saying is that I have faith in GOD that things are going to work out and I'm sorry that Obama has let you down, but the move he made on August 18th to stop the deportations of ALL Dreamers, is HUGE and speaks volumes about what is next to come of the Dream Act.Your not the only one that feels the way you feel. My friends sometimes get that way. We laugh and stay positive. Instead of you focusing on the promises that Obama made, maybe its time to focus on the promise GOD has made. Peace!

the numbers of people he deports are even huger, yu cant foolishly believe everything they say, trust me bush was way friendlier towards migrants than obama, atleast the most he did was make a fence not start hunting them all down, except if their his family of course
