If everyone is bitter, what are we doing here then?????????????????? Let's just leave. Sitting around being angry and pessimistic is not going to help.

If the ones who think that nothing will happen anytime soon are still in the US, what are you still doing here???????????????????

Leave, so your suffering can end. No one is holding a gun to your head.

I misread your comment. I recalled the debt ceiling compromise and not the deficit compromise. I am not even aware they had reached one

I apologize about that. Then I meant the debt ceiling compromise. In terms of the deficit, you can even say that both sides compromised on creating a mechanism (the Super Comittee) for negotiating the aspects of a deficit bill. The point is that members of the GOP have compromised.

In compromises, neither side gets its "full" demands.

My question to you: Did Republicans get everything that they wanted in that bill????????????

Relax, guys. I am voicing my views on the political process. If you want to label me a lunatic, feel free to do so.

this bill is not going anywhere. It has both Democrat and Tea-Party opposition. Unless of course, Obama feels eager to please the hardliners once again.
