Tell those immigrant bastards to go home.

Did you see that TV show INICIATIVA MÉXICO? They have this new reality type show where people come up with ideas to solve the countries problems, and you can text message votes on who gets the money to try their idea. We were watching it on TV the other day.

Hey man my I-130 was just approved last week so I'll be going to Mexico very soon. First to Juarez and then either to Manzanillo, Colima with my family or TJ to work with an uncle meanwhile I wait for my waiver appointment. My question to you is what do you know of Manzanillo, Colima and of joining the Mexican Military? Just In case I get denied I'm just going to stay in Mex and join the military there.

Do you mean a full enlistment in the active combat army, or just signing up for the saturday morning deal where you stand around without a gun in a white t shirt on saturday mornings?
I would suggest you do it all before the elections. Supposedly Obama replaced the Consulate staff with people who are really liberal on waivers and visas and I have met some people who were rejected in the past who were approved now. If he gets tossed out in 2012, you might be in a bind.

Manzanillo is a beach town, close to Guadalajara. Haven't been there but if you are there, might as well check out the Tequila Express..the only passenger train in Mexico. I haven't hear of any violence up there if that's what you are asking.

Lol, they are mostly super relaxed cool people who no one minds. They wouldn't be here if they hated Mexicans.

Interesting, I didn't know the mexican military had a saturday type of gig like that. I mean full on combat enlistment though, do you think my english, college and computer skills would help me in regards to rank? I'm hoping to be done with my immigration endeavor by early next year If I work fast enough. That's great news to hear as I am very excited to finally visit my home country and meet my family there, and I'm a bit scared at the same time.
