Even though it deals with legal immigrants, what happened to the argument of border security first, then immigration reform? This bill does not fix the problem. Gosh, Republicans evidently contradict everything they have said in the past. They are utterly stupid.

Democrats need to take advantage of this; shove in comprehensive immigration reform.

This piece was introduced by Lamar Smith...the same guy who wrote the original 10 year ban law...the guy is a despicable fuck and this bill only serves to fuck us over the same way the 10 year ban is fucking us now.

Yes, but legal immigrants and their US citizen families will love it.

Its Divide and Conquer. If the illegal immigrant community oppose it, they will be screwing them over, who have voting power. Then the legal immigrants and their families will become Republicans.

Does it apply to 245i at all?

How is it applied to the current family based system?

We need to pressure Obama to use his executive power to get rid off 10 yrs ban atleast. If he can do that then half of us will be good to go.

Right or introduce a bill that does that. Also, the 3/10 year ban only applies if you leave the country.

Some day we're going to be citizens of this great country. When that happens we should remember who tried to help us and who held us back and vote vote vote. Never forget.
