Alternatively they could keep the age limit at 30 but lower the age of entry to 10.

Rubio will be VP, here comes that Race card politics again.

Stop trying to make it harder for some of us to qualify, damitt. You're selfish in the sense that you're eliminating things that don't affect you, but could affect others' chances.

I'm not eliminating anything, Politicians were doing that 2 years ago.

It happened then, it will happen again.

if they water this bill down, democrats will block it, simple as that. and you cant be pissed, because the republicans did the same exact thing in 2010, they vote it down. so what makes it different if democrats do it?
That's why I said that IF the bill is quite REASONABLE (e.g. the age limit is 30-35 and does not bar us from citizenship) and some of you oppose it, there is seriously something wrong with you.

What angers me right now is that many people, such as Reid, are already slamming Rubio for a damn muthafucking bill Rubio has not even presented the details for. Keep doing it, and you will really piss Rubio off and the other GOP Senators who plan to help us out and cause them to refuse any compromise on immigration, especially some sort of relief for us, when a compromise is the only way to get things done (i.e. FUCKING NOW!). Then, you guys will really be shitting marbles. If the bill is REASONABLE and gets struck down, Obama and the congressional Democrats are not going to get something done if the status quo remains in 2013. Then, we will be on to the waiting game. Dude, that's why I don't plan to participate in protests with DREAMERS who are fucken fixed to the DREAM Act idea that they refuse to even hear the word, alternative. I would probably start swinging at someone. I fucking swear.

To clear up everything here.

The Stars act already lowers the qualifying age to 18. That alone should give you a sense as to how this new Rubio DA will be.

Democrats will oppose any republican bill, simple as that. This bill will probably disqualify at least 80% of us...

I would not oppose anything that gives us a visa of some sort, even if it is temporary. Give me 6 years with legal status and I will conquer the world!

Dude, you are slamming something when the details have not even been revealed yet. Pus, wasn't the stars act presented by Rep. Rivera? Rivera does not equal Rubio. Plus, isn't there an article revealing that Rubio considers the fact that there are older dreamers, such as the older sister of the girls he met with about a month ago, in crating the new bill? I think that girl is 25 isn't she? Well, he wouldn't lower the age limit to 26 or 27 would he? I say that we should wait to see what the details are before we start bitching at him. All we can do now is to inform him ON THE TYPE OF BILL WE WOULD SUPPORT. If we don't, then there is a chance that he will present a watered-down version. Tell me, how in the fuck can we be angry at a cake maker for making a lemon cake if we did not HELP OUT by telling him/her that we wanted fucking chocolate ?!

This is not about liking Rubio. This has to be about contacting him in order to help him craft a bill that would help the majority of us!

That's the kew word here, probably. I am urging all of you to contact Rubio somehow and inform him on the type of bill we would support if it were a visa process. And if Democrats do strike it down without offering amendements or even trying to compromise, they are screwing us over too.

The Democrats are using us in their political game. Neither party truly supports us in achieving our dreams. If they did, it'd be law by now.
